Animal Print in Fashion

Tiger stripes. Leopard print. Giraffe spots. Animal print patterns have survived well through the 80’s and are still everywhere in the fashion world today. Seen by some as trashy, animal prints are actually one of the longest standing patterns in fashion, seen on everything from lingerie to shoes to blankets and curtains.

Animal print stays popular because it can be used so diversely in different styles. A mini dress that is entirely leopard print can have the wild, fun, and flirty look, while a black mini dress with a leopard print trim, or leopard print shoes, add an edge to an otherwise classic outfit.

Much like the camouflage pattern, animal print can come in a variety of colors and still be recognizable from the pattern. The classic black and white zebra print can be a bold statement, but if the print is done in blue or yellow hues, it becomes softer and more feminine.

Stars on the red carpet are constantly seen with animal print touches, whether it’s a red dress with leopard print heels, or a zebra print tie, the classic print adds a touch of fun and spontaneity to any outfit.

Lingerie, in particular, is a hot spot for animal print. Animal prints can be found on everything from corsets to stockings, in minimal amounts and as the center piece. A feisty leopard print bustier with red ribbons can make for a hot and edgy look. A zebra trimmed lace camisole set is a sweet look with just an added touch of vibrant fabric.

It is important to look classy when wearing anything with animal print, to avoid making the pattern look like it hasn’t changed since the 80’s. If you are going for a subtle touch of animal pattern on your clothing, limit yourself to only two appearances of the print. Shoes, belts, jewelry, headwear, or trim with animal print are all simple touches that can be added to an outfit. Also, mixing animal prints with each other or other wild patterns can make the outfit look frumpy, complicated, or mismatched.

If you want the animal print to be the main focus of the outfit, then make everything else about the outfit simple. For a zebra print dress, choose classic black or white heels that won’t clash with the dress. For a leopard print corset, choose black or sheer stockings to avoid looking bulky.

A wide variety of animal print fashion pieces can be found in retail stores and online. Places like Target, Wet Seal, and Forever 21 have all carried classic animal print pieces in their junior’s and women’s departments for years. Online lingerie site Yandy carries a variety of animal print lingerie.

No matter what the occasion, animal print is a classy, fun pattern that can be used in an outfit for a unique touch.

Printing Smaller and Cheaper Catalogs

There are several good strategies out there for cheap catalog printing. You can adjust the catalog printing price by playing with the printing options. Or you can also extensively search for the best catalog printing deals over the Internet. One unique but very innovative way however for cheap catalog printing is to just print smaller catalogs. Some may call it “mini catalogs” while other marketing departments call it “light catalogs” but basically the concept is the same. Whichever the case, more and more firms are using these smaller catalogs as their ideal marketing tool for their products. Printing smaller catalogs provide several advantages financially, as well as strategically that make it a viable tactic for firms to do marketing cheaply.

Printing small but saving more:
One basic fact about printing small catalogs is that you save more money for each piece that is printed. For example, 1000 pieces of common letter sized catalogs should usually cost around 1,400 dollars. That is about 1.4 dollars per piece. If you reduce your color catalog size to only 8.5 by 5.5 inches however, you slash the cost to more than half to around 600$. That is around 60 cents a piece instead. It is basically simple math, and you should see that you already can save a lot of money when you do this.

Now, the obvious draw back here is that you will lose some space for your catalog content. Smaller catalogs mean less space. This is a minor inconvenience though. A good layout artist should easily adapt your existing catalog layout to a smaller dimension. All it takes is some text adjustments and image resizing. By only emphasizing your best products, and switching other minor products to text descriptions, you can still print your whole catalog content while using the new smaller size.

More extensive distribution with the same budget:
Smaller catalogs can also contribute to a more extensive distribution campaign. You can do this by printing larger amounts of smaller catalogs for the same printing budget as your normal catalogs. If you use the example above, we should already know that 1,400$ can more or less produce 1000 pieces of letter-sized catalogs. With the same money, you can produce around a total of 6000 pieces of the 8.5 x 5.5 kind of catalog. That is SIX TIMES the amount, meaning six times the distribution potential. If you are using your catalogs for direct mail marketing, this means that you can send to six times more addresses. If you think of the sales potential that this can produce, then smaller catalogs can really be a good investment.

Printing companies can easily do it:
Also, there is no difficulty really in printing small catalogs. Most printing companies can in fact offer small catalog printing in their standard options. If you want, you can even ask for custom sized catalogs which have different but still smaller dimensions. Most online catalog printing companies can adapt to these request easily. So there is really no trouble in trying to make them.

It should be obvious now that smaller catalogs can be the best strategy that you can use for cheap catalog printing. You can either use smaller catalogs to halve the cost of your catalog printing, or you can use the same printing budget to print larger amounts of smaller catalogs for marketing. Either way you will gain money in the process and your small catalog printing will be well worth its price.

Committing To a Printing Company

After a successful job by your local printing company, you may already be thinking about committing to them for all your printing services. However, before you start getting “buddy buddy” with the printing company, it is important first to judge them as a whole printing company, and not just by the one job that you had them do. Committing to a printing company means developing a working relationship with them, and relying on them on your business printing needs. So it pays to judge them with complete criteria.

For printing companies, there are four criteria in which you must judge them:

Service Orientation: The first criterion is service orientation. This is basically about the smoothness of the printing process. Did you have an easy time ordering your printing job? Or was it a long and arduous process? Where they friendly and helpful? Or did they bombard you with technical terms, making you feel left out? Are they approachable, or was it hard to contact them and deal with them?

If the printing company had to make you go through hoops and walls, then they are not particularly service oriented. A good printing company should have their printing processes streamlined and fleshed out. Clients must be able to easily understand each step of the way and never be lost about it. Lastly, this all must be done with a friendly and polite face to the customer. If your printing company even misses just one of these items, you may need to rethink about really committing yourself to this printing service.

Timely Turnarounds: Of course, the quickness of service is also an issue. What if you suddenly need to rush a few printing jobs for your work? Can your printing company handle overnight printing and delivery? If you have a scheduled and normal printing job, does it arrive early or is it always late? Timely and more than efficient service is also a good sign for a printing company. If their printing services go out of their way to always print faster with good quality then it is worth committing and building a relationship with them.

Significant Abilities: Also, you don’t want to get stuck with a printing company that has only a limited number of printing abilities. You may want to choose a company that can print a lot of different kinds of things, from brochures, fliers and posters to fully fledged booklets, catalogs and calendars. By looking for a company that has extensive services, you can be assured that all your need will be met.

Online Portal: Finally, as an added bonus, it is a good idea to commit to a printing company that has an online portal. This basically means that they have a website, and that you can do your printing transactions online. Doing business over the Internet is a fast and convenient way for printing. You save a lot of time in dealing with the printing company, and all of it happens at your own leisure in the comfort of your home or office. When you commit to a company with this service, then you should have an easy time.

So judge that printing company, and judge them rightly. Use the four criteria above to measure that printing company’s worth to your business. If you choose the right one, you will have an easier time printing, with cheaper rates and better services.

Cheap Printing is Smart Printing: How to Get your Money?s Worth

It takes more than a discounted price tag to influence you in choosing the right printer who’ll fit into your printing budget. Let’s change the way we look at cheap printing and open our eyes to a wider world of possibilities.

Cheap Printing is what?

• Cheap printing should not be similar to an attitude that seems to limit what things you can only afford and start from there. Instead, change it into a positive and active role.

• Printing companies have seen to it that even with cheap printing, you still have the power to get what you want. Fact is, printing companies through the advent of technology have made printing truly affordable.

• And so, cheap printing, nowadays, do not readily mean low-grade printing products. You no longer have to assume that you’ll be stuck with a choice to make among inferior goods or services.

• With the stiff competition in the market today, both online and offline, printing companies have more options for you to choose from.

• Cheap printing takes on the new attitude, “what your money can buy.” This holds true for printing companies are no longer just using prices to beat the competition, but packing everything well with superb service and perks.

• More than this, cheap printing nowadays can also mean smart spending. You can have equally quality printing products and services without costing you much.

Even if you’re working with a budget, you can get the right printing company who’ll gladly take on your printing project.

How to select the right Cheap Printing Company

Cheap printing that fits your budget is, of course, always a significant factor. But again, this should not restrict nor influence your choice of printing companies. Take time to scrutinize each printing company and categorize them.

It helps to have a system wherein you efficiently screen the printing company that would eventually fit your criteria. Anyhow, make groups such as:

a. printing companies that are distinguished for quality prints

b. printing companies that have the lowest rates

c. printing companies that offer both

The first group takes on an impression that they must be too pricey. The second gives the reverse impression and well, the third one seems to be neutral or lukewarm. It is best to screen all printing companies that you can make a choice which you won’t regret.

What Cheap Printing Can Buy

The best value for your money should be a printing company that works for you and satisfies your needs.

Your prints will be run using offset printing that produces fast, cost-effective and accurate prints. More than this, you get to enjoy lively colors for offset printing is integrated with the four color process printing that makes images reproduction a cinch. Your prints will come out painted in brilliant hues and shades of different colors.

Other than these, there are printing companies who seals your prints with an Aqueous coating without additional fees. This is part of the competitive service they give their products and give to their customers as well.

How Can You Save Some More

You can even save more with your printing project by opting for a bulkier job order. You may think that this will definitely cost you more and you’d be going way over your budget.

However, offset printing allows you to get twice as much prints without you paying twice the original amount. Once you order a huge volume of prints, the production cost goes down and you get to enjoy much cheaper printing costs.

You get to extend every last penny you have and still get more prints. With cheap printing, it’s all about maximizing your money and getting just what you deserve all yours.
